£215m north west new housing framework winners

North west housing association Torus has picked its line-up of contractors to deliver over £200m of new-build housing work.

Torus is currently developing over 2,000 homes in ten local authorities across the North West with its main operating areas in Liverpool, Warrington and St Helens.

The housing association has picked six regional builders for larger schemes on a total programme worth £150m and six local firms for smaller projects with a predicted total spend of £65m.

Torus is working as a strategic partner for Homes England in the region to deliver over 5,300 homes by 2024, together with a longer-term pipeline development programme targeting a total investment of £2.5bn by 2030.
