Firms told to notify PHE of 5 or more Covid cases in 14 days
The Construction Leadership Council has published the latest update of the industry’s Site Operating Procedures for new lockdown protocols.
Changes in Version 7 are minor, including updated guidance on self-isolation and shielding and the removal of the requirement to display a QR code in site canteens.
But contractors must now take action if five or more cases are identified within 14 days, under new Public Health England guidance.
A flowchart setting out action contractors must take if a worker has Covid-19 or needs to self-isolate have also been updated to reflect the latest guidance.
